For the past 15 years, Kims Bahrain Healthcare (KBH) has emerged into a model institution for Indo-Bahraini investment partnership in the private healthcare space.
Kims Bahrain Healthcare signifies a perfect synergy of Indo-Bahraini investment in the private healthcare space of Bahrain which has resulted in a paradigm shift in the provision of healthcare.
This is more significant as this sector is witnessing rapid growth especially with the advent of compulsory insurance.
Group chairman and managing director Dr M I Sahadulla highlights that Bahrain’s vision for healthcare and ease of doing business have been the deciding factors for the group to establish its GCC headquarters here.
“Over the years, Kims has gained enormous popularity and goodwill in Bahrain and in the GCC region," said Dr Sahadulla.
"This has encouraged us to take our Indo-Bahraini investment partnership to the next level and invest in other GCC countries.
Our present network of two hospitals and nine medical centres in the GCC region is undergoing expansion.”
Since 2004, KBH has been spreading wellness through its institutions namely – Royal Bahrain Hospital in Salmaniya, Kims Bahrain Medical Centre in Umm Al Hassam and RBH Medical Centre in Riffa.
KBH’s expert medical team has been focusing on compassionate care, patient safety, quality and affordability.
Kims Bahrain Medical Centre chairman and Royal Bahrain Hospital president Ahmed Jawahery said Kims is the first Indo-Bahraini partnership in the private healthcare sector.
“A look at the kingdom’s social fabric and we evidently see the rich culture and heritage shared between India and Bahrain," he said.
"Our partnership is a reflection of our commitment to provide world-class care and keep communities healthy.”
In terms of expansion in Bahrain, the group is living up to its objective of bringing quality healthcare closer, and has recently launched the Kims Bahrain Medical Centre in Muharraq aimed at serving the areas of Muharraq, Busaiteen, Arad, Hidd, Galalii and beyond.
The group has ongoing projects in Askar, Saar and Umm Al Hassam, whereby it will be launching two medical centres and one hospital.
