Bahrain’s Bocce team will take part in the second West Asian Paralympics Games, which opens on Sunday in Jordan.
The national squad includes players Aymen Al Heddim Saleh Abdulrab, Sayyed Ali Al Wadai and Mohammed Al Haddar, who will be accompanied by coach Awatef Abdulla Al Najdi and administrator Alya Al Omairi.
Al Najdi said that they have been stepping up physical and technical preparations to ensure players’ readiness to compete in the championship and spare them any injuries.
Bahrain’s athletics and wheelchair basketball teams will also take part in the West Asian event, which will conclude on September 22.
More than 500 players representing all West Asian countries will take part in the Games.
