Saudi: Saudi Arabia called on the international community to take deterrent measures against Iran’s excesses and breaches of the nuclear agreement.
Saudi Ambassador to Austria and Permanent Representative to the United Nations and International Organizations in Vienna Prince Abdullah bin Khalid bin Sultan Al Saud stressed the importance of working out a comprehensive international agreement on Iran’s nuclear program.
He was addressing the session of the Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) being held in Vienna to discuss the IAEA’s reports on “Monitoring and verification in Iran in the light of Security Council Resolution No. 2231 of 2015.
He called for a comprehensive international agreement on Iran’s nuclear program, ensuring that it should prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons of any sort.
He stressed the need to work on everything that can reduce the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction in the Middle East, so as to ensure international peace and security.
