A Dublin woman says she was humiliated and disgusted after the cabin crew of an Air Canada flight from Bogota refused to let her use the washroom and forced her to sit in her own urine for seven hours.
The 26-year-old woman asked four times in two hours if she could use the washroom due to an emergency, but the cabin crew still refused to let her go.
When the woman tried to get up and head to the washroom, she was confronted by an aggressive flight attendant who shouted at her to return to her seat.
Due to not being able to enter the washroom, the woman urinated on her seat and had to stay in her seat for the duration of the flight, which was heading to Toronto.
After landing, the woman had to book a hotel room to clean herself up and after she complained to the airline, she received a $500 voucher.
The compensatory voucher can only be used with Air Canada and not with its partners.
Air Canada spokesperson stated that they've been in touch with the woman.
