STORIES about the history of one of Bahrain’s most prominent landmarks, the Dilmun Burial Mounds, will be told to children aged eight to 12.
Held in celebration of its inclusion on the World Heritage list, story teller and author Nada Al Fardan will take the children on an adventure fantasy that takes place 2,000 years ago.
They will learn about the formation of the mounds, what is beneath them, their importance and the beliefs surrounding it at that time. She will also present the journey of Gilgamesh and his quest to Dilmun to find the immortal flower. The event will be held at Bab Al Bahrain tomorrow, starting 5pm onwards.
