REEM Al Hashemi participated in a Safety and Security Workshop organised by the Asian Football Confederation last week in Kuala Lumpur.
It was part of Bahrain Football Associaton’s plans to push young cadres of both sexes to participate and engage in various programmes, workshops and activities related to sports in general and football championships and competitions in particular.
Al Hashemi’s attended the three-day workshop as a prelude to her participation as a security and safety officer at the Asian Under-19 Championship for Girls in Thailand.
Al Hashimi is a certified security and safety officer with the International Football Federation (Fifa) and she has participated in a number of international and Asian championships in addition to a number of international security and safety workshops at Fifa headquareters in Switzerland.
She also participated as a security and safety officer at the Under-17 Women’s World Cup in Jordan in 2016, the Under-17 World Cup in India in 2017 and the Under-20 Women’s World Cup in India in 20.
