Riyadh: Saudi Arabia will be staging its first ever women's wrestling match at the King Fahd Stadium on Thursday, organisers said.
World Wrestling Entertainment Inc (WWE) "superstars" Natalya will clash with Lacey Evans in the pay-per-view event also featuring former boxing champion Tyson Fury's showdown with Braun Strowman.
Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Deputy Premier and Defence Minister, has introduced reforms including allowing concerts, reopening cinemas, and lifting a ban on women driving, according to a report in Saudi Gazette.
The wrestling match is part of the Riyadh Season, which includes more than 100 events over two months during the winter months in the Saudi capital.
