Saudi: A splendid falcon has fetched hundreds of the thousands of Saudi Riyals. The Shaheen falcon was sold for a record SR610,000 at an auction which was held at the Al Sultan farm in the region of Ara’ar.
The bird, the most expensive ever in the GCC countries, is 15.5 centimetres tall and weighs 1.169 kilogrammes.
The buyer who became the new owner of the Shaheen falcon is Saudi Hamdan Farhan Al Saqri.
