Dubai: A large number of fitness enthusiasts took part today in the Dubai Run, being held as part of the Dubai Fitness Challenge (DFC) 2019.
Dubai Crown Prince and chairman of the Dubai Executive Council Shaikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum posted a selfie on Instagram with him standing in the middle of the Shaikh Zayed Road just before the run.
Sameer Jawher won the 10-kilometre race, which was restricted to those above the age of 18, followed by Anwar Al Ghouz and Mohammed Meera.
The Dubai Run programme also included a 5-kilometre race for all age categories and different levels of physical fitness, Al Bayan reported.
