Abu Dhabi: The Court of Cassation ordered an insurance company to pay AED250,000 to a passenger in compensation for the injuries he suffered after a tyre of a bus burst.
The Commercial Court at the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department Court had earlier ordered the insurance company to pay AED200,000 to plaintiff, reported Arabic daily Emarat Al Youm.
The firm moved to the Abu Dhabi Court of Cassation. However, it lost the case and was ordered to pay an increased compensation (AED 250,000) to the passenger.
