INDEPENDENT-US Embassy and Al Hawaj 2 claimed the titles in the 22nd AMH Island Classic Golf Tournament.
This prestigious event concluded yesterday at His Majesty King Hamad’s private golf course in Saffiya and it was held under his patronage.
Independent-US claimed the Premier Flight (a handicap average of 6 or more) title with a score of 54.2 net which they achieved on the opening day of the tournament on Thursday.
AMH Amwaj 2, who played on the second day on Friday, finished second overall with 57.4 net and RCSI 1 third on 57.8.
Al Hawaj 2 claimed the Championship Flight (a handicap average of less than 6) with a 53.4 net which they achieved on Friday.
Gulf Air 2 finished second on 53.7 and Bahrain Confidential third on 53.8.
The teams playing on the last day included Gulf Air 2, RCSI 2, EK Kanoo 3, DHL 2, Credimax 1, Credimax 2, Ministry of Interior 2 and Saffriya

Prizes will be presented at an event to be held at the Diplomat RadissonBlu Hotel and Spa.
