Riyadh: Saudi Arabia on Monday launched the bilingual 2020 G20 website in Arabic and English with a new identity.
The authorities have also launched the official twitter account, as Saudi assumes its G20 presidency until November 30, 2020.
Saudi Arabia is also gearing up to hosting the 2020 G20 Summit, which will be held on November 21-22, according to Akhbaar24.
Themed “Realising Opportunities of the 21st Century for All”, it would focus on the following objectives:
- Empowering People, by creating the conditions in which all people — especially women and young people — can live, work and thrive.
- Safeguarding the Planet, by fostering collective efforts on food and water security, climate, energy and environment.
- Shaping New Frontiers, by adopting long-term, bold strategies to share the benefits of innovation and technological advancement.
