Abu Dhabi: The United Arab Emirates voiced its solidarity with China and its people who are facing an outbreak of the novel coronavirus.
Iconic landmarks, including Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest building, in Dubai, and Adnoc headquarters in Abu Dhabi, were lit up in the colours of the Chinese flag on Sunday night as a token of solidarity with Beijing over the viral disease.
Other landmark buildings emblazoned with the Chinese flag included the Capital Gate, the Abu Dhabi Global Market, the Emirates Palace and Sheikh Zayed Bridge in Abu Dhabi, Burj Al Arab in Dubai and Hazza bin Zayed Stadium in Al Ain.
The UAE authorities have also announced readiness to provide all forms of support to the government and people of China and to co-operate with the international community to fight the disease, Khaleej Times reported.
