TULIP Fever was the biggest winner at yesterday’s horse racing at Rashid Equestrian and Horse Racing Club in Sakhir.
Tulip Fever, owned by Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdulla bin Isa Al Khalifa, trained by James Naylor and ridden by Brett Doyle, beat Likethelook to claim the A’Ali Sprint Cup for imported horses carrying a cash prize of BD5,000.
London Look was third and Four Wheel Drive fourth.
Saheel, owned by Shaikh Hamad bin Abdulla bin Isa Al Khalifa, trained by James Naylor and ridden by Andrew Elliott, beat Riyada to win the Al Sharif Group Cup for locally bred horses carrying a cash prize of BD4,000.
Ramani was third and Malzuma fourth.
Aleko, owned by Naser Ali Naser Almoamen, trained by Bader Al Abed and ridden by Marcialis Jaures, beat Midhmaar to win the Crown Industries Cup carrying a cash prize of BD2,000.
Estikmaal was third and Sidewinder fourth.
Dirab, owned by Shaikh Hamad bin Abdulla bin Isa Al Khalifa, trained by James Naylor and ridden by Abdulla Faisal, beat Kailash to win the Al Sharif Group Cup for locally bred horses carrying a cash prize of BD2,000.
Al Mukhtar was third and Pulp Fiction fourth.
Aluqair, owned by Shaikh Isa bin Duaij bin Salman bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, trained by Sami Saloom and ridden by John Egan, beat Solar Flair to win the Al Sharif Group Cup carrying a cash prize of BD4,000.
Sir Viktor was third and Starboy fourth.
Valentine, owned by Abdulla Fawzi Nass, trained by Hesham Al Haddad and ridden by Paddy Mathers, beat Mohaayedah to win the Crown Industries Cup carrying a cash prize of BD3,000.
Duwaliya was third and Shamikh fourth.
Al Saqlawy 1564, owned by Al Wasmiya, trained by Abdulla Kuwaiti and ridden by Ebrahim Nader, beat Al Jellaby 1683 to claim the Waho Cup for Arabian horses carrying a cash prize of BD2,000.
