A NEW batch of twenty participants made it to the final of the Mawrooth Challenge in the third qualifying round, taking the total number of finalists to 60.
The event is being held under the patronage of Supreme Council For Youth and Sports (SCYS) first deputy chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) president Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
The BOC Traditional Sports Committee organised the challenge on coastal areas in the Northern Governorate. Two similar batches of 20 competitors each have already qualified for the final phase, which will be held on March 28.
The new list of finalists includes Yusuf Al Kuwari, Abdulla Isa, Ibrahim Al Hiddi, Shaihan Qader, Mujahid Mohammed, Mohammed Jaza’a, Yusuf Al Hayki, Mosa’ab Ibrahim, Duaij Salman, Ahmed Matar, Mahmood Rasas, Abdulla Al Dossari, Waleed Iskani, Mahmood Al Deiri, Jassim Matar, Mohammed Amin, Abdulla Khalif, Abdulaziz Matar, Mohammed Anad and Ahmed Al Sayed.
Over 400 participants took part in the three qualifying rounds.
