Asian killed in road accident while crossing highway

Abu Dhabi: An Asian expatriate was killed in a road accident in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. The man was trying to cross Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Highway when he was ran over by a car. Another Asian was also injured as he was run over at Baghdad Highway. In a separate accident, a speeding Chevrolet Corvette sport car was cut in two part after colliding with another car and ramming into a lamp-post. The driver suffered severe injuries and is said to be in critical condition. An Asian expatriate was also injured in accident on Dubai-Al-Ain Highway near Outlet Shopping Mall. |
