Bahrain’s preparations for the AFC Under-16 Championship were discussed during a remote meeting of Asian Football Confederation and Bahrain Football Association (BFA) officials.
The 19th edition of the championship is scheduled to be held in Bahrain from September 16 to October 3.
The AFC representatives were briefed by the BFA officials on the accommodation facilities, stadiums as well as logistical matters.
The next meeting will be held before the tournament draw which takes place on June 18 at the AFC headquarters in Kuala Lumpur.
The BFA officials who attended the meeting included Hassan Ismail, head of competitions, registration and licensing of clubs, information technology department head Majdi Al Dossari as well as media centre head Ahmed Mahdi.
