His Majesty King Hamad’s representative for humanitarian work and youth affairs and Supreme Council for Youth and Sports chairman Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa hailed Bahrain’s prominent position in equestrian sport at the international level after horse A’ali secured a stunning victory in the Holden Plant Rentals Stakes for Group 2, held at the Curragh racecourse in Ireland.
Shaikh Nasser congratulated Horse Care Affairs Authority chairman Shaikh Duaij bin Salman Al Khalifa for A’ali’s victory, stating that the win is a source of motivation ahead of upcoming events.
Shaikh Duaij thanked Shaikh Nasser for his continued support to the equestrian sport in Bahrain, adding that such backing has contributed to the various accomplishments.
“A’ali’s achievement confirms Bahrain’s leading position in the equestrian sport,” he said.
Shaikh Duaij also praised the efforts of jockey Colin Keane and trainers Simon and Ed Crisford.
