Abu Dhabi: Students enrolled in private schools in the Emirate of Dubai will study for five hours only during Ramadan.
The Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) gave instructions to start the school day between 8:00 AM and 8:30 AM and close five hours later, that is between 1 pm and 1.30 pm.
Muslim students will also be exempted from sport classes during Ramadan to spare them from physical activities which may affect their learning performance.
