The Bahrain Paralympic Committee has launched a competition to design a logo and mascot for the Asian Youth Para Games 2021.
The Games are set to be hosted by Bahrain from December 1 to 10 next year.
The competition will be open to all Bahrainis and residents with creative talent, including individuals, institutions or companies from the following groups: students of graphic design, creative arts, graphic designers, artists, painters and anyone who has the ability and talent.
A jury of experts will be formed to select the winners, where the winner will have the opportunity to showcase their winning design in all of Asia, as well as claim a cash prize of BD1,000.
The Bahrain Paralympic Committee stated that the submitted designs must showcase the uniqueness of the national identity of Bahrain, highlight the goals and vision of the Paralympic movement, and that the submitted works must not have been used or reproduced before in any other project.
People who are qualified can register for the competition until October 15. The criteria for selecting the winning design will depend on the degree of innovation and creativity as per the jury’s decision. The jury will consist of a group of experts in addition to the general public who will be able to vote for the winning design online.
