Muscat: Oman Airports has announced that its Covid-19 Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) testing facilities have officially open at Salalah Airport.
The move comes following the decision of the Supreme Committee on resuming commercial international flights to and from Oman from October 1, Times of Oman reported.
The initiative has been put in place as part of precautionary measures to combat the coronavirus disease and ensure the safety of its staff and passengers.
“Oman Airports has implemented protective measures at the terminal building and at security checkpoints to make the travel procedures and screening process safer for all," a statement from Oman Airports said.
"Travellers are reminded to observe the travel, safety, and health measures."
