Kuwait City: Seven martyrs, who went missing during the 1990 Iraqi invasion of Kuwait, have been identified.
DNA testing was used to identify the bodies which were found in Iraq.
Rabih Al Adsani, Kuwait’s head of the Committee for Prisoners of War and Missing Persons, said in a press statement on Sunday that they had been arrested during the Iraqi invasion.
The seven martyrs were laid to rest at the Al Sulaibikhat cemetery on Monday afternoon.
