Riyadh: A Saudi Arabian Airlines plane scheduled to head to Khartoum, in the Sudan, has been delayed at King Abdul-Aziz International Airport in Jeddah.
According to a report in Sabq, the airport security authorities blocked flight 451 in a preventive measure after a Sudanese woman passenger shouted at her children saying “they don’t have bombs”.
The pilot, who was informed about the incident turned off the plane engines instantly and called the airport security. The passenger have been evacuated and the luggage searched.
