Riyadh: Online registration for a cultural ideas contest has been announced by the Saudi Ministry of Culture.
Part of the Quality of Life Programme, the country’s first Cultural Ideas Marathon offers prizes of up to SR300,000 ($80,000), Arab News reported.
The Quality of Life Programme seeks to achieve the targets of the Vision 2030 reform plan and marks the launch of the activities of the ministry’s Cultural Ideas Centre.
As part of the contest, participants have to put forward proposals for creative and innovative activities at festivals and events being staged in the Kingdom.
Those who have the three best ideas, receive the awards after a five-day screening process which begins on January 11.
