Kuwait City: All passengers arriving and departing from country will be subject to a mandatory PCR test, according to a notification from the Directorate-General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), effective immediately.
Kuwait International Airport resumed commercial flights on January 2, after a 12-day suspension of all airport operations on December 21, as part of safety precautions with the discovery of the new strain of the coronavirus disease in the UK.
Health Ministry staff will conduct the mandated test at the airport.
