MANAMA: Alba, the world’s largest aluminium smelter ex-China, has achieved record production of 1,548,500 metric tonnes last year, beating its target of 1,540,000 metric tonnes per annum (mtpa).
This is the highest-ever production achieved by the company in 50-years of commercial operations .
