Muscat: Over 100,000 children returned to school on Sunday after a gap of 309 days, as part of precautionary measures taken to curb the spread of the Novel Coronavirus (Covid-19).
A total of 142,162 students of the first, fourth, fifth, ninth and eleventh grades returned to classes in the wilayat and governorate schools, Times of Oman reported.
The move is the result of a decision by the Supreme Committee and requires the implementation of precautionary measures.
