Mohammed Marhoon and Sayed Redha Isa scored for Riffa, while Samson netted Busaiteen’s only goal.
In a second match held at Shaikh Ali bin Mohammed Al Khalifa Stadium, Manama routed Al Najma 2-0 thanks to Isa Moussa’s brace.
East Riffa and Malkiya encounter has been postponed until further notice.
East Riffa are in second place with 16 points, Manama third (14 points), Hidd fourth (11 points), Budaiya fifth (nine points), Muharraq, Al Najma and Ahli sixth (eight points), Busaiteen ninth (six points) and Malkiya 10th (five points).
