INTERNATIONAL Motor Trading Agency (IMTA), a subsidiary of the KE Kanoo Group, has launched the J7 Sportback, the latest car from China’s Anhui Jianghuai Automobile Company (JAC Motors).
It features a stylish and sporty exterior, high-end specifications, outstanding performance and a reasonable price tag.
“Despite pandemic-induced challenges, we are delighted to bring the new J7 to Bahrain as we continue to emphasise new technologies and products,” said IMTA president Suzan Salman Kanoo.
“It is a pleasure to work with JAC as the company continues to enhance its product line-up with vehicles that are fun to drive, technologically-advanced and appeal to a wide range of buyers.”
Transmission
The J7 comes with a 1.5-litre petrol turbo-charged engine which produces 148 horsepower and is available with a six-speed automatic transmission.
An assertive front face, treading rear lamp, sportback styling, large trunk space and other design elements combine to create the coolest product in its class.
The J7 also boasts the largest body in its class, propped up by front and rear independent suspension in a hatchback shape bringing greater convenience.
The car’s infotainment system includes a big-sized MP5+ Apple Carplay/Android Auto system with ambient lighting, providing customers with a convenient and immersive audio-visual entertainment experience.
Created under the tagline ‘Ignition of inspiration’, the concept of ‘sportback’ breaks through the limitations of the traditional three-compartment car trunk.
All JAC J7 versions are equipped with automatic functioning LED headlamps, daytime running lights, power side-view mirrors with heating, height adjustment of the steering wheel and remote-controlled keyless entry.
Standard specifications of the car include airbags for the driver and front passenger, anti-lock braking system, electronic brakeforce distribution, hydraulic brake assist system and electronic stability control systems, AutoHold system and rear parking sensors.
“The J7 has been comprehensively innovated in appearance design, passenger space, overall performance, intelligence and safety, and thus the product competitiveness has been comprehensively improved,” said IMTA vice-president K N Singh.
“Unique comparative advantages of the model are sportback design, rear independent suspension, large-screen central control without button – 12.3-inch smart touch-screen, interior ambient lighting and leather seats with handstick interiors.”
