Al Hala lifted the Bahrain Second Division League football title after defeating Al Khalidiya 2-1 in the final round match of the season last night.
All the goals were scored in the first half of the match with the winners striking in the 19th and 24th minute and Al Khalidiya reducing the margin in the 36th minute.
Hala, with 41 points, lead the standings while Khalidiya are second with 38. Both teams have bagged spots in the Nasser bin Hamad Premier League next season while third-placed Al Ittifaq qualified for the promotion playoff.
Bahrain Football Association president Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa honoured the teams.
In the other match of the night, Al Ittifaq and Al Shabab played out a goalless draw.
Shabab have ended up in the sixth position with 23 points.
