72-year-old Saudi national dies after contracting MERS

Riyadh: A Saudi national died after contracting the Middle East respiratory syndrome coronavirus (MERS-CoV) in the governorate of Hail.

The 72-year-old man was admitted to Hail General Hospital for treatment, but he died after suffering health complications, reported local Arabic daily Sabq.

Two other Saudi national, aged 84 and 75, have also been diagnosed with the infectious disease and were admitted to hospitals in Al-Hafoof and Al-Aflaj.
