Preparations are in full swing to host the 2021 Asian Paralympic Youth Games from November 21.
The tournament runs until December 7.
Bahrain Paralympic Committee board member No’aman Al Hassan said organisational and technical preparations for the event are nearing completion.
He also highlighted the directives of the King’s representative for humanitarian work and youth affairs Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa and Supreme Council for Youth and Sport first deputy chairman, head of the General Sports Authority and Bahrain Olympic Committee president Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
He also noted the follow-up of Bahrain Paralympic Committee chairman Shaikh Mohammed bin Daij Al Khalifa.
He described the upcoming tournament as a real test for the Bahrain Paralympic Committee, which will also host the 2022 West Asian Championship in February.
