Punjab Kings moved up to fifth in the Indian Premier League (IPL) standings after defeating Sunrisers Hyderabad by five runs at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium last night.
After being sent to bat, Punjab had a slow start, and never got the momentum going before ending on 125/7.
Chasing, Hyderabad had a torrid start, losing openers inside three overs.
Jason Holder put up a late fight with a brilliant 29-ball 47 but it didn’t prove to be enough in the end.
Hyderabad were knocked out of the race of the play-offs after the loss.
