<p>Over the years, Vimto has become a dining table essential for families in Gulf countries during Ramadan.&nbsp;</p>
<div>The sale of the British soft drink reaches an all-time high during the holy month as Vimto&rsquo;s high sugar content and sugar flavour works as a welcome energy boost after a day of no food or drink.&nbsp;</div>

<div>The drink &ndash; made from grape, blackcurrant and raspberry and flavoured with herbs and spices &ndash; is hugely popular in Bahrain and is an Iftar favourite.&nbsp;</div>
<div></div>
<div>Vimto was first introduced to the Middle East by Al Aujan family in 1928 and has been associated with Ramadan ever since.&nbsp;</div>
