DECEMBER festivities continue this week with Bahrain basking in the warm glow of National Day and Accession Day celebrations.
* A group exhibition by Bahrain Women Printmakers remains open to the public at the Art Centre. Organised by the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (Baca), the latest edition of the ‘Lines of Light’ features artworks by invited artists and members of the printmakers group.
The presentation is open to the public until December 29, from 9am to 8pm.
* The winning entries of ‘A bench in Muharraq’ competition are open for viewing at Arad Fort, Bu Maher Fort, Amarat Fakhro and Amarat Jamshir in Muharraq.
The event is being organised by Baca in co-operation with the Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning Ministry.
* Families and individuals can choose from a wide range of handicrafts and other products on display at various stalls in Bab Al Bahrain this weekend. Organised by the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority, the Saturday Market is open from 9am to 7pm every Saturday, until February 12, 2022. Admission to the event is free for all.
