2 Seas Motorsport Mercedes-AMG GT3, featuring Shaikh Isa bin Abdulla bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Martin Kodrić and Ben Barnicoat, scored a convincing victory in the 10th Gulf 12 Hours at Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi, defending their title which they had won in Bahrain a year ago.
His Majesty King Hamad’s representative for humanitarian work and youth affairs Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa expressed pride in the success of 2 Seas Motorsport team, captained by Shaikh Isa.
“We are very proud of this achievement,” Shaikh Nasser posted on his Instagram account.
He said the victory adds to Bahrain’s rich record of accomplishments at international sports gatherings, adding that it will be a catalyst for the team to continue its successes in the coming period.
Shaikh Isa said the team’s success is the fruitful outcome of the interest of His Majesty and the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister. He commended the role played by the King’s personal representative Shaikh Abdulla bin Hamad Al Khalifa, in attaining the honourable accomplishment that confirms the team’s distinguished position.
Shaikh Isa paid tribute to Shaikh Nasser and Supreme Council for Youth and Sport first deputy chairman, General Sports Authority chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee president Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, for their unwavering support.
