Iftar meal distribution at a camp in Sitra
The Pakistani Women’s Association (PWA) is celebrating the spirit of Ramadan by distributing food packages to the needy.
The dedicated women’s group – which has been working on humanitarian causes since 1998, along with some family members and volunteers from their Youth Ambassador Programme – provided 75 needy families with bags full of non-perishables.
They also distributed iftar meals in a mosque and a labour camp in Sitra.
More than 30 individuals received grocery vouchers from LuLu and Bahrain Pride to help their shopping needs throughout the holy month.
The PWA aims to continue arranging food provisions as well as more meal and ration distribution campaigns throughout Ramadan. Above, iftar meal distribution at a camp in Sitra.
