The brand new Hilton Bahrain has launched a Friday brunch promising to deliver “the best of urban living in the heart of the city”.
True to its theme, the Urban Brunch at the Origin Kitchen & Culture restaurant has a specially curated menu perfectly paired with mocktails, mixed drinks and hops, accompanied by live entertainment.
The inaugural edition of the brunch last Friday featured a lavish spread comprising oriental cold mezze, appetisers, salads, warm starters, soups, seafood, stations for tacos and ceviche, meat carving, selection of cheese and crackers, decadent desserts and executive chef Ravneet Manchanda’s signature dishes, Lamb Ouzi with oriental rice, Tamarind glazed short ribs, Salmon gravalax, Lamb rogan josh and Truffle pizza.
The highlight of the entertainment, which included a DJ and a band, was a duo of Brazilian Samba dancers.
According to the hotel’s food and beverages director Rene Pepper, a variety of bands will be featured on a weekly basis and the menu would change taking care to ensure that regular brunchers have familiarity but don’t find it repetitive.
The brunch experience is open from 1pm to 4pm every Friday at the only five-star hotel in the kingdom’s entertainment district in Juffair.
