A 10-day heritage festival begins at the Manama Suq this evening.
‘Road to Manama’ will take place daily from 4pm to 8pm and include various workshops designed to introduce children and teenagers to traditional Bahraini crafts.
Workshops for children aged eight to 12 cost BD5, while those aged 13 years and above will be part of the advanced sessions, being organised at the same cost.
Registration is mandatory for all workshops at portal.btea.bh/portal.
The event will also offer Bahraini-focused seminars that have been designed to help participants uncover their skills and talents, filling their time with practical knowledge and abilities in a variety of disciplines.
‘Road to Manama’ will additionally be accompanied by free public events, such as traditional Bahraini games, musical performances, children’s storytelling and puppet shows.
The event is being organised by the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority and will come to an end on October 1.
