A proposal by 10 MPs, led by first deputy speaker Abdulnabi Salman, to hold an open debate on the lack of job opportunities for qualified Bahraini medics has been unanimously approved and scheduled for debate in parliament on February 14 to allow concerned officials to attend.
As reported earlier in the GDN, a call went out to the authorities last week to provide jobs for graduates, with MPs claiming that hundreds of doctors were struggling with unemployment despite being qualified for the caring profession .
