His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, yesterday issued an edict on restructuring the Water Resources Council, following the approval of the Cabinet.
According to the edict, the Water Resources Council shall be chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, and comprise the Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture Minister (deputy chairman), the Oil and Environment Minister, the Works Minister, the Electricity and Water Affairs Minister, the Cabinet Affairs Minister, the Housing and Urban Planning Minister, the Sustainable Development Minister and the Industry and Commerce Minister as members .
