Beyon, through Batelco, is contributing $60 million towards building the SEA-ME-WE 6 positioning it among one of the biggest investors in the global submarine cable consortium.
Connecting 14 countries across three continents and stretching from Singapore to Marseille in France, the 19,500-km-long SEA-ME-WE 6 cable system will provide a new gateway to the Gulf, creating a layer of network diversity and resilience for the heavily used routes connecting the Middle East towards Europe and Asia .
