Cristiano Ronaldo once again delivered for his club scoring another hat-trick as Al Nassr defeated Abha 8-0 in the Saudi Pro League at the Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Sports City Stadium last night.
The Ronaldo party started in the 11th minute of the game as the Portuguese scored a free kick from just outside the box. Ronaldo’s shot had lots of power and pace, and even though the keeper had a touch on it, he couldn’t stop the ball from going in. In the 21st minute, Ronaldo had another free kick which was further out. Ronaldo scored his second goal of the night as he slotted the ball into the top left corner with the keeper standing still.
In the 33rd minute, Sadio Mane scored as he shot the ball in the bottom right corner from a pass by Ronaldo. It didn’t count as an assist as the ball hit a defender on the way to Mane. In the 42nd minute Ronaldo completed his hat-trick as he chipped the ball over the keeper from outside the box.
Ronaldo did grab an official assist just two minutes later as he played an easy ball to Al Sulaiheem in the box, who tapped in the fifth goal for Al Nassr. Ronaldo’s perfect first half led to Al Nassr leading 5-0 at half-time.
Ronaldo did not play the second half as he was subbed off and replaced by Al Nemar. That did not stop Al Nassr from scoring more. In the 51st minute, Abdulrahman Ghareeb scored by sending the ball into the top right corner.
In the 63rd minute, Al Aliwa scored Al Nassr’s seventh goal of the night. Just before the 90th minute, Al Aliwa scored his brace to seal the 8-0 win.
