FOOTBALL – THE Bahrain Football Association (BFA) announced yesterday ticket prices for the upcoming senior men’s national team match against China in the third round of Asian qualification for the FIFA World Cup 2026.
The game is scheduled to be played on November 14 at the National Stadium in Riffa. It will be kicking off at 5pm.
Tickets to VIP seating cost BD20 apiece, while tickets to category one seating are BD10 each.
Tickets can be purchased from today until match day at the BFA headquarters in Riffa between 9am and 1pm.
Bahrain are on five points on the qualification Group C table – tied with Australia and Saudi Arabia – and behind leaders Japan, who are on 10 points. Indonesia and China are in fifth and sixth places, respectively, with three points apiece.
The Bahrainis are coming off a goalless draw against the Saudis in their previous match last month, while the Chinese claimed their firsts victory after three straight losses after beating the Indonesians 2-1.
Bahrain’s game with China is the first of two assignments at home this month. They also welcome Australia for their return fixture on November 19. The Bahrainis had previously claimed an historic 1-0 victory against the Australians in September in the Gold Coast.
There are three groups in all in Asian qualification’s third phase. Group A features Iran, Qatar, Uzbekistan, the UAE, Kyrgyzstan and North Korea; while Group B is composed of South Korea, Iraq, Jordan, Oman, Palestine and Kuwait.
The top two finishers from each group will punch their tickets to the FIFA World Cup 2026.
