The Capital Governorate, in partnership with Diwan Hub, has launched the 2025 Startups and SMEs Excellence Awards, part of the tenth Manama Entrepreneurship Week.
The awards ceremony will be held on April 30 in collaboration with the Labour Fund (Tamkeen), Mastercard, Bahrain Development Bank, and KPMG Bahrain.
The awards aim to encourage innovation, support global expansion for Bahraini companies, attract investments, and enhance Bahrain’s reputation as an entrepreneurship hub.
Capital Governor Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa emphasised the importance of empowering entrepreneurs to boost the economy and sustainable development.
Diwan Hub chairman Khalid Al Rumaihi highlighted plans to expand the awards regionally by 2026 and foster cross-border partnerships.
