A widely-circulated video footage on social media of a young girl from Gaza sending a defying message to US President Donald Trump has sparked massive reaction.
Maria Hannoun challenged Trump by saying, “As a child survivor of the Gaza war, if I asked you to leave your home and land and live in Egypt or China, would you accept that?”
“In reality, you won’t accept that… Alright, if you yourself would refuse, why would you want to force me to accept to leave my house and land?” she added.
Maria went on to say, “Aren’t you supposed to be the country of freedom and democracy? “What freedom are you all talking about?
“Advice to the President of the world, you can control the whole world except for Gaza because Gaza is the world.”
