Saudi Arabia welcomed what it described as the ceasefire in Yemen, announced by Oman, aiming to protect international navigation and trade, the kingdom’s foreign ministry said yesterday.
Oman said a day earlier that it mediated a ceasefire deal between Yemen’s Iran-aligned Houthis and the US.
