JIU-JITSU – SALMAN Jehad Khalfan, a member of the Bahraini Jiu-Jitsu National Team and a member of the Elements Jiu-Jitsu Academy, won the silver medal in the -62kg adult professional brown belt category at the Abu Dhabi Grand Slam Championship, at the Mubadala Arena in Abu Dhabi.
The championship featured some of the best jiu-jitsu players from around the world. Khalfan delivered a powerful and distinguished performance, reflecting his advanced skills, high discipline, and great determination, confirming his position as one of the most prominent rising talents in the region.
Following the awards ceremony, Khalfan expressed his pride in representing Bahrain in the global event, extending his sincere thanks and appreciation to the wise leadership and sports institutions in the kingdom for the continuous support they provide to athletes. He emphasised that this support has played a fundamental role in enabling him to train at the highest level and achieve outstanding results in international championships.
