Geneva: A United Nations spokesperson announced that 90 trucks loaded with humanitarian aid were delivered to various areas inside the Gaza Strip, as part of ongoing efforts to support the population amid the humanitarian crisis.
The aid included flour, food supplies, medicine, and other medical and relief items. The trucks entered through the Karam Abu Salem and Rafah crossings under the supervision of UN agencies.
The spokesperson said that the shipment aims to meet urgent needs in light of severe shortages of essential supplies in the Strip.
The United Nations continues to work with international partners to ensure the sustained delivery and effective distribution of aid to support the most vulnerable in Gaza.
