Deputy Governor of Makkah Region and Vice Chairman of the Permanent Committee for Hajj and Umrah Prince Saud bin Mishaal bin Abdulaziz announced today in Mina the success of this year’s Hajj season (1446 AH) in terms of security, health, and services.
Extending congratulations to the leadership, Prince Saud said: “On behalf of Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Makkah Region Governor, and Chairman of the Permanent Committee for Hajj and Umrah Prince Khalid bin Faisal bin Abdulaziz; and Minister of Interior and Supreme Hajj Committee Chairman Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz; and on behalf of all Hajj workers, I extend my congratulations and blessings to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for the distinguished execution of the operational plans.
These plans aligned with the spiritual journey of the pilgrims and enabled them to perform their rituals with ease and tranquillity.”
He added: “My thanks go to my colleagues in the security, health, and service sectors, as well as the male and female volunteers who worked with dedication and sincerity to ensure the success of this great ritual. They were fully aware of the honour in serving the pilgrims. I also extend my sincere appreciation to the pilgrims, who were key partners in this success through their commitment and adherence to the regulations.”
Prince Saud concluded by emphasising that preparations for the next Hajj season will begin immediately: “The Kingdom, its leadership, government, and people, is proud to serve the holy sites and their visitors. We will immediately begin planning for next year’s Hajj, asking Allah Almighty for success and guidance in all our efforts.”
